Apprenticeships - Could you help build the new Dover District Leisure Centre?
Work is underway on the construction of the new £26m Dover District Leisure Centre, and the team is already looking for two apprentices to join one of the most exciting construction projects in the district!
The project is offering an apprenticeship as part of the major groundworks package. This involves working with concrete, bricks and blocks as required, laying drainage, pavements and digging excavations. This means that the ideal candidate will enjoy hard physical labour and working outside in all weather conditions. This apprenticeship includes work on site and college based learning.
This is a great opportunity for someone to play an exciting part in one of the district's most exciting construction projects.
Business Administration Apprentice
BAM Construction are leading this exciting construction project. They are looking for business administraiton apprentice to join the project team in Dover. You will complete a 1 year, Level 3 qualification in Business Administration, whilst working with the BAM Construction team. You'll really get to grips with the project as we build the new leisure centre, and will be invovled with:
- Supporting site administration duties as required by the project team
- Printing and distributing drawings, schedules and specifications as necessary
- Undertaking duties in support of the day to day running of the site administration
